Shirley Caldwell, 68, formerly of Middlefield, Ohio died Wednesday June 28, 2017 at her home in Jacobsburg, Ohio.

She was born October 30, 1948 a daughter of the late Walter and Hazel (Legg) Kimball in Columbus, Ohio.

Shirley was a Catholic and a homemaker and loved her grandchildren very much.

She was married to Joseph Caldwell, her husband of 48 years on May 24, 1969.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a daughter, Tana Renee Caldwell as well as a brother, Ronnie Kimball both in 2014.

She is survived by her husband, her children, Charles Joseph (Cynthia) Caldwell of Middlefield, Ohio and Adam (Denise) Caldwell of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by her siblings, Walter Kimball of Columbus, Ohio, Wallace (Connie) Kimball Sr. of Jacobsburg, Ohio, Mary (Floyd) Persons of AZ and Brenda Crabtree of FL.

In addition she is survived by 9 grandchildren, Cassandra, Shawn, Jessica, Elizabeth, Joshua, Aaron, Morgan, Emily and Jacob Caldwell along with 15 great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Ave Shadyside, Ohio 43947 on Friday June 30, 2017 from 11 am until 1 pm.

Funeral liturgy with Mass will begin at 1 pm at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Shadyside, Ohio with Fr. Samuel Saprano officiating.
