Taylor,Shirley Mae 86, of Bellaire, Ohio died Thursday, May 17, 2018, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus, Ohio

She was born July 17, 1931 in Bellaire, Ohio a daughter of the late Russell Nelson and Leatha Mahaffee Nelson Eaton.

Shirley Mae was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Osiris Shrine Temple, Daughters of the Nile, The Grand Council of the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America.
She was also an avid quilter and made many special and individual quilts for her entire family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Phyllis Lee Arnold and her step-father, Charles Eaton.

Surviving are her husband , James L. Taylor, two daughters, Amy Baker of Worthington, OH, Ruth Taylor of Orlando, FL and a son, Chuck (Shari )Taylor of Bellaire, OH, 6 Grandchildren, Corey Pohlmann of Orlando FL, Nathan (Dan Dinneen) Baker of Worthington, OH, Kyle (Lamece) Baker of Worthington,OH, Ashley (Corey) Martin of Shadyside, OH, Chelsey Taylor of Bellaire, OH and Jaymes (Jessica) Taylor of Shadyside, OH, great grandchildren, Jayce, Colt, Jolene, Kyle Jr. and an expected great grandson, Jonah, several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Avenue Shadyside, OH 43947 on Monday from 2-4pm and 6-8pm where services will be held at 11am Tuesday with Pastor Larry Helms officiating.,.

Burial will follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, Pleasant Grove, Ohio.

We will always remember Shirley as one of the kindness loving people we have ever met. she had a great sense of humor and loved life and especially her loving husband, Jim and her family. God bless Shirley and her family.
