Solomon Crow 75, of Shadyside, Ohio died Tuesday February 2, 2016 at Belmont Community Hospital.
He was born at home on September 26, 1940 in Shadyside, Ohio a son of the late Solomon Earnest and Alva (Florine) Crow.
Solomon worked as an analyst for Ohio Ferro Alloys for twenty years and then drove a school bus for the Bellaire City Schools until he retired.
He was a Methodist by faith and attended the Lincoln Ave. United Methodist Church in Shadyside, Ohio.
He was a ham radio operator and loved metal and woodworking and was a Scout Leader for many years for Troop 212 in Shadyside, Ohio.
Solomon was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife Mary Elaine (Hahn) Crow whom he married on Jun 12, 1960. He is also survived by his children, Paul Richard Crow of Tx, and Robert Todd Crow of Shadyside, Ohio as well as a brother Joseph Wayne Crow. In addition he is survived by a granddaughter, Stephanie Herndon of FL, and two great granddaughters, Bella and Vera Herndon also of FL.
In accordance with his wishes no formal viewing will be held.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday February 6 at 12:00pm with Rev. Randy Weaver officiating.
