Thomas Steed Strussion, 52 of Belmont, Ohio died tragically at home on Thursday, September 21, 2021.
He was born November 18, 1968 in Bellaire, Ohio, son of Thomas Strussion and the late Linda Steed Strussion.
Tom “Tommy” was the owner/operator of Salsa Joe’s Tex Mex Restaurants 740 & 304, as well as the original Salsa Joe’s in Arlington, Texas that he founded.
In addition to his mother, Tom is preceded in death by his brother, Chris Strussion and sister-in-law, Amy Jo Lipperman Strussion.
Surviving are his father, Thomas Strussion of Bellaire, Ohio, sister Lisa (Chris) Balog of Bellaire, Ohio, nephew, Rocco, nieces Lindsay, Cassie and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly.
Angela Jo Strussion, 49 of Belmont, Ohio died tragically along with her husband, Thomas S. Strussion on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at their home.
She was born September 23, 1971 in Monroe, Louisiana daughter of Eddie J. Cutrer and Jan Berthiaume Butcher.
Angela was the director of Campaign and Lead Management for Global Business of First Data Merchant Services Corporation.
Surviving are her father and stepmother, Eddie and Ann Cutrer and her mother and step father, Jan and Ken Butcher, her brother Eddie Joe Cutrer and his wife Mindy, two step sisters, Jennifer Carnes and Michele Odena, also, her niece, Addison Cutrer and nephew, Tyler Cutrer.
Everyone who had the opportunity to meet Tommy and Angela felt the welcoming warmth of their presence, their kindness, and love for their community. For those who patronized Salsa Joe’s – the food, comradery, laughter and music will live on in our hearts.
Tom and Angela both shared a love of animals. May their beloved furry companions Gracie, Isabella & Paulie rest peacefully with them.
Private Celebration of Angela and Tom’s Life was celebrated on Monday, September 27, 2021 at 1pm with Fr. Daniel Heusel and Pastor Bill Marinelli officiating.
