W.C. (Warren) Moore, 75 of Shadyside, Ohio,  died Saturday August 15, 2020 at his home after a brief illness.

He was born January 3, 1945 a son of the late Warren and Edna (Wilson) Moore Sr. in Oconee County South Carolina.

W.C. was a carpenter by trade and owner / operator of Moore Construction.

He served in the United States Air Force and was a Christian by faith.

W.C. loved to fish and host cook outs for his friends with the large grills he fabricated himself.

He would take them all over and cook ribs and chicken in his spare time.

He was a member of the Bellaire VFW and the Shadyside Legion as well as the Carpenters Local #3.

W.C. was preceded in death by his parents and a sister Peggy Sandifer.

He is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Burkhardt) Moore of Shadyside, Ohio; his siblings, Barbara (Fred) Harrison, Judy (Rusty) Moore and Patsy (Charlie) Morgan; as well as a brother-in-law, Bill (Lisa) Burkhardt and sisters-in-law, Kathy Kapolka and Phillis Burkhardt, along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In accordance with his wishes no formal services will be held. Final disposition will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements by the Bauknecht-Altmeyer Funeral Homes & Crematory 3900 Central Ave, Shadyside, Ohio, 43947.

Nancy, I am so sorry for your loss. I am a first cousin of W.C. His father was my mother’s brother. I remember growing up with him and all the cousins in S.C. He was always a sweet, likeable young man. He will be missed by many.
