Ritchie, Wilfred “Boots” 79, of Shadyside, OH died October 3, 2016.
He was born April 29, 1937 in Fly,Ohio a son of the late, John H. and Margaret Ahrens Ritchie.
He was retired from Belmont County Senior Services and was a Army Veteran.
Preceeding him in death, in addition to his parents, was his wife, Judith Ann Ritchie and a brother, Ralph Ritchie.
Surviving are his children; Okey (Freda) Ritchie of Bellaire, OH, Jeffery Ritchie of Chardon, OH, Greg (Sarah) Ritchie of Chambersburg, PA, Loretta (Kelley Ann) Leasure of Columbus, Cassandra (Michael) Ritchie-Wright of Dayton, OH, and Marie Garrett of Bellaire, OH, a brother, Virgil (Jean) Ritchie of Fly, OH, 8 grandchildren, a great grandson.
Family and friends will be received at the Bauknecht-Altmeyer FH, 441 37th Street, Bellaire, OH., Wednesday from 10am until time of funeral service at noon.
Burial follows in St Paul’s Trail Run Cemetery, Fly, OH.
Belmont County Council fo the American Legion will conduct services at 11:45 am Wednesday from the funeral home.
