Such great memories hanging out down Fred's. He was the best mechanic I have ever known. Anyone on the hill with car trouble ended up at Freddy's. Every once and awhile we could hear Fred in the goat making a few passes in front of his house. Pat, Alan and Carla, we are so sorry he is gone. Rich & Lisa Kocher

First of all Pat, Alan, and Carla, we want to say how deeply sorry we all are for Fred's passing. And also to let you know he will surely be missed by all of us. We've known fred and you all for 40 years and in all honesty, are the best neighbors we've had. Tom has always looked up to fred for his hard working ethics and his knowledge for cars. They were very much alike in many ways. Tom has been a very hard worker and a car buff as well. They got along very well and I'm glad Tom has those great memories of fred because hes sure going to miss him. Me and the kids will too. Your kids and my kids grew up together and your kids were always over here. I loved them now and still do. My heart goes out to you pat but please never forget, we are here for you and the kids. May fred be at peace in heaven. Amen

I was so saddened to hear the news of Fred’s passing. I have such fond memories of spending time with your family when I was younger. I loved stopping by and remember how impressed I was with Fred’s shop and the pop machine... Pretty big stuff for a 5 year old. Your family had a tremendous impact on me. Sending all my love to you Patty, Alan and Carla.

Pat, Alan and Carla: I am very sorry to hear of Fred's passing. I have so many fond memories of hanging out with Fred in the garage. As a teenager, I was so impressed with his knowledge of cars, and of course, with his cars as well. He taught me many things that have helped me throughout my life. I had been reminiscing about those times, just a few weeks ago, when my wife and I had driven by the house. I wish she would have gotten to meet him. Our thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
