To the family of Becky Gowdy. When Becky started attending Trinity Presbyterian Church in New Martinsville, West Virginia, I was immediately drawn to her. We often spoke and shared things together. She was a blessing to me and everyone else at Trinity. She always spoke about Jennifer and of course her granddaughter who she babysat a few days a week. I know that meant the world to her. I pray that your grief will turn into sweet memories.

Becky and I grew up at the same time in Shadyside. My aunts, Emma, Jo, and Ella May went to her salon forever. She was always so kind and caring to them. She will be missed.

I am so sorry to hear this. Becky kept Shadyside’s “moms” looking beautiful for years. Going to get her hair done was the highlight of my mom’s week. She loved Becky! When mom had brain surgery, Becky came today the rehab to do her hair. That shows what a wonderful woman she was. Our sincere sympathies to all the family.
