Condolences for William J. Horky
I spent my childhood living next door to the Horky family in Brookside. Bill, Roy, Carl and I spent many years growing up in that area and roaming the hills together. I miss them all. Bill was really a very special person. I am sad at his passing.
Bill was a classmate of my and a friend through high school. Bill was always in an upbeat mood with a big smile on his face. I only saw Bill a few times after graduation at a couple of class reunions. Bill was one of the good guys and I'm sure he will be missed , RIP Bill.
Love and prayers
My love and prayers to you and your family
Aunt Janice, Gary, Jeff and Pam, you’re in my prayers, I’m sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of Uncle Bill. Dave
Bill hired me in the 60s at the DQ and I also worked for him at the DQ Brazier in Bellaire. It was my first job and I learned a lot from him. He was such a nice man! Sorry for your loss. Barbara Hartline-Cole
I enjoyed working for Bill and Jan. In Shadyside and Bellaire Dairy Queens. They helped many of us to earn money for college in the 60's. May God bless you and your families.
Rest In Peace, Mr. Horky. He hired me at the Shadyside DQ back in 1970. It was the best job I ever had, even tho it would have been hard to survive on $.75 an hour. He was instrumental in helping to develop a good work ethic in me that served me well throughout my working years. Ironic that he lived so close in recent years and I never knew-I live in Venice part time now! Prayers for Jan and the “kids”
Jan and family I am so sorry for your loss. My first job was the Bellaire DQ back in 1968. Bill made it a great place to work. Great memories of the annual Christmas Eve party.
Jan and family... so sorry for your loss. My first job was the Bellaire DQ. Great memories of the Christmas Eve parties at your house. Great Boss!
Prayers to the family! ❤️

Fun Boss. For the family Hugs
My sincerest sympathy in the loss of your Dad! He gave me the very first job at the DQ. Many fond memories of your Dad, Mom and your family. He was one of the good guys! He was respected by all! May the good Lord give you all strength to get through this sorrow. He lived a good life, a much deserved one indeed.
Condolences to you and yours
