Condolences for Hiawatha M. “Bumpty” Green
Sandy, I’m very sorry for your loss. Your love and care allowed your mother to live a long life. You are often in my thoughts remembering our childhood and teen years. Blessings, Martha Wise McCarthy
Cassandra, I am so sorry to hear the news about your beloved Mother. She was the most wonderful lady with the sweetest smile. I loved talking with her...from childhood until the day I left home. So many precious memories. I'm sending you prayers for comfort and peace. The world was blessed to have your Mother in it.
The Flushing Alumni Association would like to express the deepest sympathy on the passing of Hiawatha. Even in the 1939 year book, her nickname was “ Bumpty “. She started first grade in Flushing in 1927 and her classmates said she always had A sunny disposition, wonderful smile, and loved to dance. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Love and prayers ....she was a very special lady to my Mom Lillian Kutie Hinds...they lived next to door to each other in Flushing Ohio....she was there to help my Mom when I was born...(Patricia Ellen Kutie Purtiman)
Our condolences to the entire family on your loss. She certainly was loved and had an exciting life. Now she is with her Lord..RIP

When we lived across the street, I couldn’t wait to go talk to Mrs Green. She wanted me to call her by her nickname, but she was always Mrs Green to me. I very special friend. Special friends are hard to fine. Love From our family to yours!
