Condolences for Mark S. Shepherd
My sincere condolences to Mark's family... I am so sorry that I couldn't make it to meet you and give them personally. I met Mark at Kammer Plant when I began to work there in 1983. Mark was always gentle, polite, comical, and helpful. He always reminds me of my deceased brother who was a gentle loving man as well. May GOD comfort you and bring peace to your hearts, in the name of JESUS the CHRIST, Amen. I will send a donation to St. Jude's in Mark's memory... another example of his generosity. In prayers, Bonnie Mihlbauer.
On behalf of the Shepherd family, Thank you so much for all of your kind remarks and sweet memories of our dear cousin Mark. It is heartwarming to know that he was loved by so many and remembered so fondly. We love you and will miss you Mark!
Mark was a wonderful human being with a kind and gentle soul. I had the opportunity to have breakfast with Mark at Rigas's in August. I'm so glad I did. We shared great memories of our time at SJC. He updated me on the happenings of some of his classmates. Mark never had a bad word to say about anyone. We talked about his struggles with his legs since recently being hit by a motorist in a grocery store parking lot. Mark might have moved slowly on his feet but he was swift with his mind. I'll miss seeing him at the Downs. Take care my friend. Heaven gained another angel.
Mark was one of my very best friends throughout elementary and high school. Along with Dean Decoy and Jeff Anderson we shared a very special friendship. He would give you anything he had that you needed, that's just who Mark was. I visited with Mark this past summer while in the Ohio Valley and sure glad I did. As always Mark was upbeat, positive and funny. He was my good friend and I loved him. You will be greatly missed my friend but the memories of our times together will always be close to my heart. I cannot believe you're gone, you are not forgotten.

Mark lived in the little house behind my mom and dad, Kathleen and Bob Foster. He was always at our family gatherings and my mom took meals up to him almost everyday. He was a gentle, happy guy who always had a smile on his face. R.I.P. Mark.
Mark was a kind man with a kind and gentle spirit. He always had a smile on his face and a friendly word for everyone he met. I have many memories of him spelling out IRISH at pep rallies and cheering on his team throughout the years. May he enjoy the glory of heaven!
Mark "Shang" was the spirit of the Class of 1980. He was a kind friend to all and will always be remembered for his trademark IRISH. May he rest in peace. He was loved by all his friends at SJC.
