I worked hand-in-hand with Audrey for many years it West Virginia Northern community college. Audrey taught me so many things as a colleague that I could never begin to comprehend all her knowledge. She taught me how to be a college professor, how to be a first rate culinarian, and how to strive for perfection. In my many to years teaching, after her retirement, I always told the students of her dedication to the program and to the profession. Heaven now has a great chef! My prayers to her beloved sons.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Audrey. I had the pleasure of being their Financial Advisor and friend. I loved talking to Frank and Audrey about their wonderful son's and of course the dogs! May God Bless them both as they are now in a better place.

I've always known Audrey as "Aunt Bunny." Her dad, Pop Arndt, gave her that nickname and I am glad it stuck. I never heard an unkind word from her and was always happy to see her - she loved Christmas and wondered why people couldn't feel the Christmas spirit all the time. I will miss her perfectly wrapped Christmas presents, her gourmet dinners, her love of the ocean... but most of all I will miss my Aunt Bunny. God's speed.

When I reflect on Audrey I think of how lucky we were that our sons Felix, and Jason became such great friends freshman year of high school . Audrey was so proud of her sons ,always happy when she spoke about her family . I had the pleasure of living by Audrey , and Frank for a few years. When my grandsons were 2, and 4 I would walk to visit with Audrey who was always out working in her garden. Felix is my grandson Joey's God parent .Audrey would love to show the boys all around her garden, always had a smile for them . I know she is at peace now knowing that Felix is in good health again . Audrey was a lovely lady , very kind , sweet and caring , very glad I had the chance to know her.

I was reminded recently by a dear family friend that one's life - how he/she lives it - is their true legacy once they leave Earth. Mom's memory and how she lived her life will stay with those who loved her and knew her forever. She inspires me everyday to live a positive and a full life - most importantly, to cherish the simple things in life. As I write this, I am enjoying the cool breeze of the morning air, the smell of the fresh rain and the lovely sounds of the birds in the back yard. Thank you mom for showing me how to live life. I love you and miss you.
Love you, mom. Miss you. I was thinking of you walking around outside as I was cleaning up the gardens and flowers. Saw a cardinal on a walk yesterday - beautiful day and I think you were watching out for us :) Love you.
We were treated like we were the most important people they’d ever served. They responded to every question and request promptly and professionally.
The fact Bauknecht-Altmeyers has taken care of so many family members. They truly treat you like family.
