Sonny was a great guy. I knew him through Bellaire Christian Church. My first thought was... Sonny I Picture you smiling next to your beautiful Pat I know how deeply you missed her. Sonny loved his family. He had a strong faith. Beside his many talents as a trustee. I have a fond memory of Sonny coming in my office and telling me how he had gone to the doctors office. He had figured out he could make other people’s days more pleasant. He had been sitting next to someone who was worrying and not very happy. He discovered just by talking to someone he could brighten their day. He was delighted that they stopped and thanked him on their way out. I know Sonny always brightened my day! I will greatly miss him. To the family, I’m sorry for your loss. But know he talked of you often and he had a great love for all of you!

Uncle Sonny is finally going to be with his beautiful wife, he’s wanted and waited for this for so long. To Stacy, Robert and the rest of our family my heart breaks for you and I wish I could be there with you but I know he is at peace now and some how I keep hearing Yahtzee dice being rolled on the bar!

Sonny, you missed Pat so much and we are thrilled that, because of Jesus, you are with her right now. The weather man said there was a tornado in Eastern Ohio on Tuesday afternoon. We are sure it was just you speeding toward Heaven and stirring up the wind. We love you Sonny and will see you in Heaven in the near future. Be at peace, all is well.

My family lived next door to Sonny from 1944 until the Arno's moved to Shadyside. my brother Tom graduated with Sonny in 1955. Sonny could throw a rock a mile away, he was a master at marbles and always had a good joke. Later.he would drive me, his cousin Buddy and his brother Dickey in his dad,s big car to the drivein theater. our families celebrated VJ Day evening together in 1945.. I was 5 at the time. many many good memories. REST IN PEACE
