Dear Diane and Family, We were sad to learn of Roger’s passing. Our families spent many happy times together during holidays and summers. Roger and Kathy were our closest cousins. Roger was a kind, caring, and generous person. I am sure that his spirit will live on in his family. We will keep all of you in our thoughts and prayers. With all of our Love - Alan, Wendy, Lorna, and Erin

Dear Diane and family, I just found out today that Roger passed. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I remember growing up with Roger and Kathy. The cousins had so much fun. We always got together at Grandma Bessie’s house. The videos brought back so many memories. He will be missed by so many.

I have known Roger for over 20 years and he was a great public servant and served the taxpayers very well. As a former county commissioner, I appreciate Roger's willingness to work with us to make Belmont County a better place. I am grateful to have served with him for many years. Most importantly, Roger was a funny, generous and all-around nice guy. I enjoyed his wit and humor and loved to hear him laugh. To Diane and family, my deepest sympathy as he was taken from you way too young. May his memory be eternal knowing that he is now resting in peace with no more pain or suffering.

My family moved to Bellaire in 1985. One Sunday afternoon Roger and his Dad stopped by our house. They pulled up in a green delivery truck that Roger called the Veggie Mobile. They not only dropped off vegetables; but, also had toys for my children. I worked with Roger for a number of years and he always had a great sense of humor.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Roger’s passing. My condolences go out to Roger’s family. I had the pleasure to work with Roger at the Auditor of State’s Office and at the County Auditor’s office. Roger was always extremely helpful and knowledgeable - an all around pleasure to work with! I will miss his phone calls and meeting with him. A true gentleman.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a great man. He was not only my boss, but my lunch buddy and friend. My heart breaks for his wife and children, and family. I will miss him dearly along with his spunky wit. He made going to work fun. He was one of a kind. I can't begin to say enough about him. A true gentle and kind giant who would do anything for you. Love and miss you Roger and may you rest in peace.
